PICK UP
If you live local to Diamond Creek or Thomastown VIC, you are more than welcome to collect from us and can easily elect to collect your order. Collection is NOT available on Public holidays or long weekends.
SHIPPING TIMES/PRICING- Rubyfish is NOT liable for lost items.
We will provide tracking information for all parcels. We strongly urge clients to pay to insure their orders. Only 60% of the retail price will be refunded on orders that are lost and insured. Please read below for full information.
General shipping
General shipping WITH insurance (up to $100)- $9.50
Tracking provided to customer for ALL orders when posted.
Orders are shipped between 1-5 BUSINESS days of receipt.
ALL orders will have a tracking number which will be emailed once posted. Please be sure to check your email.
Once we have posted- it can then take Australia Post 2-9 working days to deliver pending location.
Generally Melbourne Metro are delivered within 4-10 working days. Please take these times into account when ordering.
We work on business days for times.
If your order is hand delivered by Rubyfish- the above postage cost still applies.

EXPRESS ORDERS
If you require your goods urgently we suggest that you pay for the express shipping. Orders are shipped the following day of receipt (if placed before 5pm) and item is in stock. If it is not in stock- we will email you to advise.
Express shipping WITH insurance- $12.35
Tracking provided to customer for ALL orders when posted.
IMPORTANT- we work off business days (excludes public holidays). Orders must be received by 5pm to be guaranteed delivery within 2 business days. EG: Order by 5pm Monday and you will have it by Wednesday. (Melb Metro only). May be an extra day for Melbourne country or interstate.

Victorian school holiday postage delays
During school holidays our handling times can extend to 5-6 working days. Please take this into consideration when placing orders during Victorian School Holidays. If you wish to have your order quickly- we suggest paying the express post. There will be NO delay with Express Post order.
LOST ITEMS
If your order is lost by Australia Post, we will do everything we can to locate it. If however, Australia Post are unable to locate it, we will ONLY partially refund INSURED post orders.
INSURED POST REFUND-
Actual Postage cost will be refunded (Under Australia Posts Guarantee) however, $1.50 will be kept as this is the insurance cost and is not refundable by Australia Post.
GOODS- 60% of the retail price will be refunded. The balance kept by Rubyfish to cover the cost of the goods.
EXCHANGE/REFUNDS
ALL of our hair clips are HANDMADE. With this, they require some care when wearing. Many of our finer items (metal hairbands in particular) are NOT suitable for wear at school or kinder, nor are our alligator clips with flowers/butterflies etc on them. Little girls are prone to taking their hair clips out & pulling at them etc. We recommend that they wear such items for special occasions and not at kinder or school. Korkers are the most suitable items for little ones to wear un-supervised.
Due to health regulations accessories are non-refundable and non-returnable should you change your mind. However should your item/s be faulty, simply return the item/s within 14 days with a choice of a full refund or a replacement. Rubyfish will not refund or reimburse postage and shipping cost for returned/faulty item/s.
